Something New is Coming to the Shop!

Needless to say, I'm doing a terrible job already this year sticking to my goals of keeping this blog updated. I was hoping to get at least one post up a week, but the last few weeks have been incredibly hectic. I recently moved out of my apartment, which of course resulted in me getting really behind with orders, so I've been trying to catch up with those before updating the blog. First of all, I want to give a HUGE thank you to my customers! You guys are awesome, I can't tell you how much it means to me that so many of you were willing to work with me while I was moving and wait so patiently for your designs.

I wanted to announce a new item that is going to be available in the shop soon! A few months ago, I was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest to create a photo map of all of the states I had been with my fiancé. I thought it would be a really fun project to work on over the years and keep adding pictures to the different states we visited. Obviously our map needs some work (but hey, we're still young, recent college graduates)!

I posted this photo on Facebook, not really thinking much on it, and the response I got was amazing! I had so many people asking me about it, wanting one of their own. The great thing I realized about this map is that it doesn't have to be just for couples! The skies the limit with idea!

A few weeks ago, my sister-in-law asked if I could make one for her sister-in-law for her birthday. I received a folder of images and went to work, and I'm thrilled with how their map turned out!

It was printed as a 16"x 20" print, which I was worried would be too large, but ended up being a perfect size!

When you order your own map, you will receive the 16"x20" JPEG digital file to take anywhere to print yourself! The beauty of this photo map is that I will keep the PSD file in an archive for a year after your original map purchase. However, you will be able to pay a small fee to get your map updated. When you update it, then the year resets, and I will then keep it archived for another full year. That way, you can keep updating it every year without having to pay for an entirely new map! The map will also be customizable from the title, the names, the fonts, and the colors.

This item will be up in my shop within the next week, so keep an eye out for it to be listed! I hope you all are as excited about this product as I am.

Please let me know down in the comments what new items you'd like to see in the shop! I'm getting special requests all the time, but I'd love to get more feedback on the types of new general designs you'd like to see for sale!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Happy New Year 2015!

I can't believe 2014 is already over! What a year it has been for me and this Etsy business of mine. I am still in awe over the overwhelming support I have received from friends, family, and Etsy shoppers this year. I am hoping to continue to grow my business in 2015 by setting some goals for myself this year:

There are many goals I want to be sure to accomplish this year, but I want to focus specifically on these three goals.

First, I want to make it a habit to start blogging at least once a week. I have really fallen short on that aspect of this business and I want to make sure to keep this blog current in order to help my business grow! It will also help all of you to stay up-to-date on current promotions, changes, and updates.

My second goal of the year is to give away a free image of the week. These will be announced each week on the blog and will be available for download on here. I am very excited about this new aspect of my business and I hope you all will be, too!

My last goal probably needs some explaining. I would really like to start doing more charitable work through my business. Every month, I will release a new single design in the shop that will be the designated "Charitable Design of the Month" where all of the proceeds from the sales of that design will be donated to a charitable foundation. Each month, the charity will be different (and this will be announced in the information of the listing). I will be sure to post more information about these as I start posting the designs in the shop. I am very excited about the possibilities of this new feature of my shop, and I hope you all are just as excited. Suggestions are always open for charities, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a charity you would like to be considered!

Also, before I go, I just wanted to quickly share my exciting news! I'm engaged!! We are so thrilled and I can't think of a better way to start off the new year!

Happy 2015!

Recent Happenings

Hello all!
Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to post in a while, the shop has been incredibly busy this month! I suspect it's because of the holidays quickly approaching. Working a full time job (which typically requires a lot of overtime on a weekly basis) in addition to running a part time business is challenging, but I have loved every second of it. I am astounded by the positive feedback I have received, by the amount of support people have shown me, and by the amount of growth that the shop has had over the last couple of months. What an amazing journey this has been, and it's still just getting started!

I am seriously blown away with the amount of orders and requests I have received this month, and it's not even halfway through November. Because of the many requests I have been getting, I have a lot of new items up in the shop, so please make sure to take a peek at the new designs. I have been working quickly to get both SVG and silhouette studio files up, but it has been so busy, I have only had time to do mostly one or the other (so if you see a design you like, but it's not in the right format, just shoot me a convo and I'll get a listing up for you).

Speaking of this, I can't believe how much I have learned from selling these files on Etsy. Thanks to a customer I had a few days ago, I discovered a way to convert the SVGs to be able to be imported into the Silhouette Studio program. It blew my mind and is going to be a great asset to my business, as it will save me a ton of time trying to draw out each design in both Adobe Illustrator and the Silhouette Studio. If you'd like to learn about how to convert and Adobe Illustrator file into a compatible Silhouette Studio file without purchasing the $60 Adobe Illustrator plug-in,  please contact me! I'd love to start doing "how-to" posts to help other crafters gain more knowledge about these programs, so any questions about programs, designing, converting, etc. please please please let me know!

Fall Favorites

Happy Friday! It's certainly been a busy week for Coral Charm Boutique! There have been many requests for new designs coming in, and I couldn't be happier! Unfortunately busy week means very little time to write blog posts, but I wanted to get a post up for you all today featuring some of the fall favorites in the shop!

First, I want to feature some of my new pumpkin chevron designs! I have a plain chevron pumpkin file (available in both SVG and for Silhouette Studio) and a monogram chevron pumpkin design (also available in both SVG and for Silhouette Studio). Either can be paired with any of the monogram fonts in the shop!

I also added this week two new mason jar designs! These were already available for Silhouette Machines, but now they are available in a SVG format as well! The jar on the left is also included in the fall collection that I posted about a few days ago.

Finally, I put up a new design a few days ago that has been received very well by my customers! It's a chevron circular frame that has a space for a monogram. This would also work perfectly with any of the monogram font files that I sell in my shop. Right now, this design is only up as a SVG file, but I will most likely be listing the silhouette file soon! AND I got so many requests for this design as a decal that I also ended up putting up a listing for the decal, which you can find here

So there you have it! I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the new designs in the shop. Be sure to check back regularly for updates, flash sales, giveaways and more!

New monogram designs!

I have been working hard to get some new monogram designs up in the shop and I am excited to share them with you! I got a custom request yesterday from a fellow Etsy shop for some single monogram SVG files, and they turned out great (see below)! I only have 8 letters done as of right now, but I will be working on the entire alphabet over the next few days so they will be available to everyone soon!

Here's an image I received this morning from the buyer with the design cut out an on a product:

I will hopefully be getting more images of this, so check back later for more examples of my designs in action! And if you're interested in getting your own design made for your cutting machine/embroidery machine, start a custom request form on my Etsy page!

I have had many requests for curly script monograms lately, so I'm finally happy to be able to announce that I have also put up some new listings this weekend for more single curly monogram files! I also managed to get the single script monograms up as SVG files, Silhouette .studio files, and JPEG files yesterday, so those are now available!

I am working on getting some script monograms for 3-part monograms soon, so make sure you check back frequently for more designs!
